9:41 😮 Oh no baby Dill! He lost his grip on the chain, and hit the ground pretty hard 😢. This is the third time I've seen him fall (all from low heights). In captivity falls are one of the main reasons why the baby chimp mortality rate is high (aside from illness and disease). I know that he has to learn to climb, and shift his body weight and balance. Their climbing apparatus goes really high up, and I really worry and 🙏 pray he doesn't fall from a much greater height from the top.

@@sonyawilson1000 It was really bad. Berry, Cherry, and Bonbon all attacked Decky, bite his lip off and one of his toes.I think it was in 2019 2 years after Kenta was the dominant male, and they were reestablishing rank there's a video of it.

ディル君のピンチにすぐ駆けつけるミカンママは、ママの鑑ですね。見てないようでしっかり子供の事を見守っている。ディル君はイブキ兄ちゃん、プラムお姉ちゃんに囲まれて本当に楽しそうでこちらも幸せな気持ちになります。
いろんなこと吸収中の幼子は、キラキラしてて魅了されます。ミカンは、予想通り素晴らしい初子育てですね。

@@CourtneyTunbridge79 Exactly. A 2-3 foot fall by a 1 year old human baby could easily cause a skull fracture, if it landed on its head. Baby chimps are just as vulnerable. In captivity, head injuries are the most common cause of death for baby chimps.
